Long time no post!

It's been a while! I haven't been doing a whole lot of crafting lately, but I HAVE been busy with life in general. We had my sis and bro-in-law here for just over a week with their 5 kids, so our place was overflowing with "kid-energy"! 9 kids under 10 yrs! Lots of fun and laughs... the odd scrap, but nothing got too serious. Swimming at the new Multi-plex in Grande Prairie, skating on Kakut Lake (by the light of the moon once!), sliding down our friends' hill, playing Monopoly Deal and Dutch Blitz til 1 in the morning, cooking 2 dozen eggs at a time, Caroline making cinnamon buns with poppyseed spread filling (YUM!), being with family and friends every single day... many great memories that won't be forgotten anytime soon!

So after all that, it's hard to get back to "normal"! I am trying to do a few things crafty-wise... so I'll put a few layouts on here that I've done. I've decided that I'm not going to try to do all things Stampin' Up! on here anymore, but will try to label accurately as to what I've used. Be patient, I'm still learning about this blogging business!

So, we had our Technique Club  the 1st Sat in Jan and these were our projects using the "corner punches" technique. I got the idea from Roulien Stahnke over at Let's Scrap! This page was made using old xmas paper from SU! as well as twine, punches, markers for edging, and die cut letters.

My adorable nephews! Corner rounder punch outside circle.

This card was made using all SU! product as well, other than the punch itself, which is an unknown. The DSP is from the Twitterpated line in the new Occasions Mini catalog. The ribbon is Riding Hood Red pleated satin, also in the new mini. The saying is from the "You Are Loved" stamp set, and the wee button is part of the Regals Collection.

Have a fantabulous day!
