Scrapbooks Made Simple DT page...

Hey all! This is a page I created with my monthly kit from Anita at Scrapbooks Made Simple, our local Grande Prairie scrapbooking store. I love this photo of Luke, my youngest, playing with the foxtail that grows everywhere here. Thanks for peeking in today!

Just for you...

Washi tape seems to be all the rage, and I wanted to create my own version of it, Stampin' Up! style. This is what I came up with... just for you! This card uses all 5 of the new In Color ink along with 5 different stamp sets (6 actually, if you include the saying!) and the new Dahlias, which are just so cute! And twine, which I'm beginning to think most of my projects aren't complete without it! The light wasn't so great for picture taking, but there you have it! Thanks for looking!

Treasure Hunt and 1st Time Blog Candy!

Mini Glue Dots - by Stampin' Up!
"super sticky, double-sided, favorite go-to for adding fun page embellishments"

There is a treasure hunt going on. Right now. Until Oct 31. And the prize is $150 of Stampin' Up! product. Which YOU get to pick!

Look for the picture of the SU box you see above with the saying "It's Like Christmas In A Box" on their blog. Then look for their clue. (Mine is Mini Glue Dots)

Once you've found 50 clues, list them and where you got them, along with your name and email address to me at djwebber01@yahoo.ca so I can enter your name into the Fall Treasure Hunt give away! The drawing will be held Oct 31 and the winner will be notified by email.

Sounds like fun, eh?! Off you go then! Happy hunting!

Here is the list of blogs you'll want to check out for clues... just click on the name to take you to their blog. I will be adding to this list as time goes on, so be sure to check back!

LATE NIGHT STAMPER WEB RING

Now then... I'd like to add my own bit of blog candy to this post... everyone that emails me their list of 50 clues from the treasure hunt will automatically be entered to win a sticky trio prize package! This will include a box of mini glue dots, a pkg of stampin' dimensionals, and a roll of sticky strip. All favorites of mine that I can never not have on hand for all my stampin' and scrappin' needs! So, get hoppin' and enjoy all that stampin' goodness!

Nearly A Month...

...since I've posted anything! Yikes! Well, summer is always a little crazy here, with the campground running full tilt and people always needing something! Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that yes, I am planning on doing a card class, which will include 5 different cards (masculine, thinking of you, flowers, antique, and fall). I will post details of the cards at another time, since i don't have pics at the moment! But you"ll be disappointed if I don't show you SOMETHING, right? Ok, I'll leave you with this... its a card I saw on Connie Babbert's bog, InkspiredTreasures.com. I think it's incredibly cute, and so very appropriate for the start of another school year. Thanks for the inspiration, Connie!
